Business Writing Students Help Promote the Sioux Falls Outdoor Campus

Thea Ryan Miller, director of Sioux Fall’s Outdoor Campus made a visit to the Globe Campus last Monday evening, September 24 to view and collect the group presentations and written proposals the BS150 Early Fall quarter students created for their Service Learning project. BS150 students spent a portion of August 4, a beautiful Saturday morning and afternoon at the Outdoor Campus University Day event collecting data and surveys from participants. Ms.Ryan Miller was impressed with the professional quality of the students’ powerpoint presentations and said she will try to incorporate a number of students’ recommendations into University Day next August. The Outdoor Campus director was also provided with the written proposals the students collaboratively created, while stating they would be “extremely informative and helpful” when planning and promoting future Outdoor Campus events.
