Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for your donation. When you make a blood donation, you join a very select group. Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America donate blood.
Ebony Benson, Medical Assistant Chair, organized a successful blood drive on campus Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012. Three MA students were instrumental in assuring that the collecting of 24 pints of blood went smoothly. Globe University Eau Claire students, Jisera, Rachel, and Bridget helped with donor check-in procedures and the snack area.
Ebony reported that, “Once again the American Red Cross personnel commented on the “nice” (helpful volunteers and smooth operation) drives that Globe University Eau Claire is able to provide the organization.” Ebony concluded with, “A great big thank you to everyone!”
