Successful Futures Start Here with “Operation School Supplies”

Do you remember the scent  and pleasure of opening a new box of crayons, the bold colors of a new set of markers, organizing your new backpack with all those newly purchased and labeled school supplies? You felt ready and eager to conquer the new school year!

Globe University-Eau Claire is helping children in our area get the school year off to a successful start with a backpack full of needed school supplies.  Two Global Citizenship students are assisting  Director of Admissions, Josh Kampa, collect school supplies on campus and in the community as part of their Service-Learning Project.

The goal is to collect as many supplies as possible for area students. Angelina Kasputis and Jeremy Bursaw will help Josh identify ways to promote the project on campus and in the community, assist in collecting the items, and identify avenues to disburse the collected supplies.  The hope of the Service-Learning team is to “Stuff a Truck” with supplies.
