Veterinary Technology Students Host Exotic Animal Display

The Veterinary Technology students invited guest speaker Jamie Kozloski, who found Kingdom Animalia Exotic Animal Rescue, in an effort to educate the public about exotic animals. From her rescue Jamie brought an African Spurred Tortoise, an iguana, a Goffins cockatoo, a Malayan box turtle, a ball python and Madagascar hissing cockroaches. Students were responsible for researching information about each of the species, creating a booth, and presenting information to guests who visited the animal display. Students were able to educate the public regarding the animal itself, on housing, feeding, habitat, and general care of the species.
