Globe University-Sioux Falls Celebrates “Honor Roll” with Reaccreditation Visit

Accreditation is an important factor to consider when choosing a college or university to obtain your degree. Globe University-Sioux Falls is proud to be nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Universities (ACICS). ACICS is a national accrediting body who ensures that a college or university is required to meet and maintain high standards of faculty qualifications, student retention and student placement. ACICS was founded in 1912 and is the largest national accrediting organization of degree-granting institutions. ACICS is recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

The Globe University-Sioux Falls campus recently completed a three-day intensive investigative audit and evaluation of all Globe University-Sioux Falls programs by a team of eight individuals who are considered experts in their field, representing ACICS. The Globe University – Sioux Falls campus concluded this reaccreditation visit with an unprecedented ZERO areas of noncompliance.

In addition, Globe University- Sioux Falls has been awarded a six-year accreditation approval and has been added to the Council’s “Honor Roll,” which is reserved for elite institutions. Thus, today at Globe University-Sioux Falls, we celebrate not only this marked achievement for our University, but want to share this with our students and community friends who are our sole focus when striving for continued excellence and improvement in our education.
