Globe University’s “We Care” Spirit Shown at “Rake the Town”

The fall colors are all around and now hitting the ground. Raking and yard clean up can be a difficult job for many elderly in Sioux Falls, that’s when volunteers step in. A crew from Globe University joined the city-wide “Rake the Town” event.

Seven Globe University faculty and staff worked on 1110 North Prairie, the home of Dorothy. Although she had no trees on her yard, her neighbor’s leaves seemed to prefer her lot.

Beautiful weather and a real “we care” spirit helped the raking team quickly pick up twenty bags of fall foliage.

Good job, AWESOME team!
