Spring 2013 Graduating Class

On Friday, June 14, hundreds of excited individuals filled the Washington room of the Ramkota Hotel in anticipation of Globe University-Sioux Falls’ spring 2013 graduation ceremony.  On this night, Globe-Sioux Fall s graduated 19 students from a variety of programs including massage therapy, medical assisting, and paralegal, to name a few.  What is most impressive is that four of these students graduated with honors in front of a packed house of friends, family and supporters. These 19 individuals, now with their official diplomas in tow, are well on their way to exciting careers in their respective fields.

Globe-Sioux Falls is proud to affirm some interesting and unique characteristics of this graduating class. First, nearly half of the graduates matriculated from the veterinary technology program, making it one of the largest numbers of vet tech grads to date in one class.

Furthermore, one of those vet tech grads celebrated with her daughter-in-law, who graduated on Friday from the medical assisting program, making this graduation a family affair.

Another vet tech grad proposed to his girlfriend earlier that day, giving them all the more reason to celebrate this special occasion. And finally, around half of the spring 2013 graduates are already working in their career field upon Friday’s ceremony. Some have found their path by turning their externship into a job opportunity, while others pounded the pavement to find that perfect position to utilize their hands-on skills and training.

Either way, the Globe University-Sioux Falls staff and faculty could not be prouder!  On behalf of everyone here at Globe, we want to extend an enthusiastic congratulations to the following spring 2013 graduates:
