We’ve officially entered into the season of shopping, festive food and holiday parties. We’ve also entered into the time of the year for giving.
Liberty Mutual Insurance is hosting a food drive called Food for iPads for students and staff at Globe University-Woodbury on Dec. 13, 20, and 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the student commons. Those who bring a non-perishable food donation to support The Salvation Army Food Shelf of Maplewood and help families in need over the holidays will be entered into a drawing to win an Apple iPad.
- Dates: Thursday, December 13, 20, 27
- Time: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Location: Globe University-Woodbury Student Commons
Liberty Mutual will also donate $5 to The Salvation Army Food Shelf of Maplewood if a student or staff member completes an auto insurance quote between now and Dec. 31, 2012. To increase the campus’s support to The Salvation Army, an additional $5 will be donated if the students or staff complete a home quote as well.
“This is a wonderful marriage of uniting useful information from Liberty Mutual to our staff and students while helping support The Salvation Army of Maplewood,” said Lisa Palermo, Globe University-Woodbury campus director. “Having the opportunity to win a free Apple iPad is the cherry on the cake.”
