Preparing for the VTNE

Vet Tech certifications

Most states require a passing score on the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) as part of becoming fully credentialed.

Graduates of Globe University’s veterinary technology programs are eligible to take the VTNE, which licensure and certification bodies use in the credentialing process.

You must meet application deadlines and take the exam during one of three specific windows.

Administered by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB), the VTNE is a three-hour test that costs $300. Find the VTNE Candidate handbook and more information through the AAVSB website.
