If you are like most high school students, you have probably given it some thought already, but may not know where to start or how to evaluate your options. At Globe University/Minnesota School of Business, we offer high school students options that are focused on moving them into career positions. Some information we would like to share:

High School Advantage Program
When you apply for admission to Globe University/Minnesota School of Business, you will have the opportunity to get a jump-start on your college career. If you are a high school senior enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program, you are eligible to take one free course per quarter beginning the fall quarter prior to your official start date. You may take up to four courses free of tuition. This program is offered to seniors with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
President’s Scholarship
Reduce Tuition with early enrollment! Anyone who meets the following eligibility guidelines is eligible for the President’s Scholarship: A student who applies for admission to Globe University/Minnesota School of Business prior to January 1, 2008 or April 1, 2008 of his/her senior year of high school and has a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher will receive one of the following scholarship awards:

$2,000 – Apply prior to January 1

$1,000 – Apply between January 1 – March 31

Director’s Scholarship
Take a scholastic test for tuition reduction possibilities. A high school senior enrolled in a GU/MSB program may take the CPAt (Career Profile Assessment test) on one of six preset dates throughout the school year. Scholarship amount is determined by CPat score, up to $5,000 is available. The final 2007/2008 testing date is April 26, 2008. Other Scholarship Eligibilities
Dream Act Scholarship – Each GU/MSB will have one scholarship in an amount equal to 50% of the total program costs of the recipient. Additional eligibility guidelines apply – see a professional Admissions Representative for further details.
Military Service Scholarship – This scholarship is for military personnel and their families that have been severely injured during service in Iraq and Afghanistan. Eligibility established by the U.S. Department of Defense Severely Injured Joint Operations Center. Award amounts are tied to degree pursuit.
