Prepare for therapeutic massage certification and licensing exams

The 770 hour Massage Therapy Diploma program or two-year associate program at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business will prepare you to sit for the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and for the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination.

Earn an associate’s degree in massage therapy

Our school offers an A.A.S. in Massage Therapy, allowing you to enhance your credentials in therapeutic massage with business and liberal arts coursework that prepares you for career advancement.

Swedish Massage:This course introduces the massage therapy student to skills and knowledge that are necessary for completion of a full body Swedish massage.       

Sports Massage: This course introduces the massage therapy student to common rehabilitative and sport injury conditions and symptoms.                                

Deep Tissue/Trigger Point Massage: This course introduces the massage therapy student to techniques to affect and manipulate deep tissue.                              

Myofascial Release: This course introduces the massage therapy student to the introductory skills and knowledge necessary to manipulate connective tissue by performing a full-body myofascial release routine.

Hot Stone/Spa Techniques: This course introduces the student to spa techniques including: hot stone massage, aromatherapy, body wraps and reflexology.                      

Introduction to Thai/Energy: This course introduces the student to Thai Massage and Energy Work.  The student will learn basic Thai and Energy Work techniques.

Pregnancy/Special Populations Massage: This course introduces the massage student to pregnancy massage in addition to geriatric and hospice massage. 

Cranial Sacral/Lymphatic Drainage Therapies: This course introduces the massage therapy student to the advanced skills and knowledge necessary to perform a full craniosacral treatment and lymphatic drainage treatment.   (Required for associates degree only)
