When we designed our computer science programs, we wanted to make sure our students were getting the skills employers were looking for. We called on information technology professionals and business leaders to serve on our IT and Computer Programming Advisory Board.

College credit for work experience and industry certifications

IT positions involve very specific tasks and accomplishments. Our classes are designed to teach the related specific skills. As a result, if you are already working in the information technology/computer programming industry, you may be able to receive college credit for work experience and certifications earned.

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology: 67% of IT jobs require a bachelor’s degree. Our B.S. in Information Technology can lead to as many as 12 industry certifications.

Associate in Applied Science in Information Technology: An associate's degree in information technology can prepare a student for as many as seven industry certifications, and focuses on specific, advanced training.

Associate of Applied Science in Programming and Game Development : Turn your passion for gaming into a paying profession in this rigorous two-year degree program. 

On-campus and online IT classes

Flexible options include full-time and part-time programs, and college classes and training can be completed through distance learning/online computer classes or at several Globe University/Minnesota School of Business locations.
