Sales and marketing are excellent career fields. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics states that high earnings are common among sales and marketing managers, and because of the importance and high visibility of the jobs, the managers are prime candidates for advancement.*
A job candidate can apply the same skill set used in sales and marketing management to related occupations, including promotions, public relations, market research, product development, advertising sales, media relations and sales representatives (independent and as employees of corporations).
Although some employers ask for a specific degree, such as a bachelor’s (4-year degree) in marketing, there are many sales & marketing career opportunities for graduates of 2-year business programs. Globe University offers two programs specifically for the sales and marketing professional:
Both programs are offered through our online college and at convenient campus locations. If you have questions about the career outlook in sales, marketing or another business specialty, about our school, or related issues such as financial aid, please call 1-877-303-6060 or contact admissions. A representative will be happy to help you.
