Legal Science Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates

• Criminal justice (BS, AAS). Students prepare for careers in security, corrections, rehabilitation, the courts and law enforcement support. (Some states require additional peace officer training for employment as a law enforcement officer.) Available online and on campus.
• Paralegal (BS, AAS). The paralegal acts as the attorney’s right hand, performing legal research, interviewing clients, preparing legal documents and analyzing evidence. Pay often reflects experience and level of education. Available online and on campus.
• Legal administrative assistant (Diploma). Critical members of legal teams, legal administrative assistants perform office and support functions in law firms, corporate legal departments and government agencies. Available on campus.
