Associate Degree: Engineering Drafting & Design

Globe University offers an associate degree in engineering drafting and design. In this two-year program, you will learn to translate engineering concepts into working models and drawings for manufacture. Year-round class availability means you can complete the program in 18 months of full-time study.
Engineering drafting and design: program features
You will learn practical skills from instructors with field experience. Small classes mean you will have extensive one-on-one time with these professionals. Technical, scientific and creative studies in the associate degree program include the following topics:
- Computer aided drafting and design (CADD) software: SolidWorks, Creo (Pro-Engineer)
- How to improve the cost effectiveness of products and processes through standardization, material and process selection, and tolerancing
- Design for manufacturing and assembly
- Product data management
