Globe University, Minnesota School of Business and Accurate Home Care have joined forces to offer an innovative new way to receive your education in the health care industry. This dual-training program combines Globe's experience providing career-focused education with the industry expertise of Accurate Home Care to train students for positions where they are needed most.

Accurate Home Care is expanding and needs qualified, committed mental health technicians to help provide superior care to its growing clientele in the Children's Mental Health division. If you are looking for a career where you can make a difference by helping others, this is a wonderful opportunity to earn a college certificate, while receiving valuable, paid, on-the-job training and tuition assistance.

Interested candidates must apply to, and be hired by, Accurate Home Care in order to be eligible for this cooperative training program. Eligible candidates will also need to meet all Globe University/Minnesota School of Business admissions requirements.

Its Mental Health Division is a no exception as they offer services in clients' homes and at their own day-treatment facilities, and has programs for both children and adults. This unique partnership is a perfect example of Accurate Home Care's efforts to stay ahead of the curve in home healthcare, and more specifically, mental health services.

Innovative educational opportunity

Selected students/employees will work at least 20-hours a week at Accurate Home Care as a Mental Health Behavioral Aide, while taking part in the 9-month mental health technician certificate program at Globe University or Minnesota School of Business. The majority of classes are offered online, providing you flexibility with your work schedule. This unique partnership allows you to simultaneously apply what you learn in the classroom and on the job.

Making college affordable and efficient

This innovative training program makes the most of your time and money, helping you increase your qualifications and credentials efficiently, effectively and economically.

Eligible student/employees will receive a $500 cooperative training scholarship each quarter and additional hourly income to be used towards tuition. In addition, credits earned can also be applied to the medical assistant associate degree or health care management bachelor's degree programs at Globe University or Minnesota School of Business.

Make a difference

As a Mental Health Behavioral Aide at Accurate, you will work closely with a practitioner to provide in-home and in-clinic care for patients being treated for mental health issues or substance abuse. Your duties may include behavioral intervention and helping clients develop the skills they need to be successful.
