At Globe University & Minnesota School of Business, we know leadership training is only effective when employees are engaged in relevant material that can be applied directly to their position. Bringing someone in for a group training can be impersonal, and workshops throw too much information at you too fast with little chance of retention. That is why we’ve created a customizable leadership development program that can be tailored to the needs of your business with a focus on identifying, solving and improving specific issues and challenges within your organization. Customized series can be formed with as few as four participants. Each series has the potential to start new groups eight times a year.
Emerging Leader Series
The best leaders often come from within. This six-month leadership development program is designed to help high-potential, mid-level employees reach the next supervisory or management stage in their career. Emerging leaders study Supervisory Management, Managerial Accounting, Sales Management, and Organizational Behavior. During the program, each emerging leader will identify an area of opportunity within their organization and examine possible strategies and solutions that can be applied to it. The results are intended to be shared with leadership and have a positive impact within the organization.
Individuals completing the Emerging Leader Series could earn up to 16 quarter credits toward an undergraduate business degree. This leadership training series can be customized for a group/cohort from a single company to address the needs of their organization, or as an open series for individual employees that encourages interaction with emerging leaders from other organizations. A company-sponsored cohort series can be co-facilitated by an employee of the company.

Executive Leader Series
The six-month Executive Leader Series is focused on helping top management professionals further develop effective leadership skills to advance their position. Online leadership development courses in the series include Managerial Communications, Team Work/Group Management, Politics of Leadership in a Global Economy, and Strategic Management. Participants will examine an issue within their organization, then apply strategies and develop models to resolve the issue using a team-based approach.
In addition to the immediate application of this four-course series, participants may be eligible for credits toward our Globe University & Minnesota School of Business degree programs, including our master’s programs. Professionals have the option of enrolling in an open series or having a custom series developed for an organization.
