Not only did Elena Thobani graduate from Globe University with her bachelor’s degree in business administration, but she did it in just two years while maintaining a 3.9 G.P.A. Elena says her success at Globe University is due to the school’s flexibility, helpful faculty and small class sizes.
“My whole experience was really good,” she says. “It was easy to learn, and I like how it was set up with the option to take classes online or on campus.”
“Originally from Woodbury, Minn., Elena became familiar with Globe Education Network when she attended Minnesota School of Cosmetology. She graduated in 2009, and planned to do hair while pursuing another degree. Since MSC and Globe University are affiliate schools, she thought Globe would be a good place to continue her education.
“I found out they were enrolling for fall, and I wanted to start right way so it just worked out,” says Elena.
Elena worked as an admissions representative on campus while she was still in school, and she believes that experience helped her land a job. Elena graduated with her bachelor’s degree in September 2013, and was given the opportunity to speak at her graduation ceremony.
Currently working as an insurance representative for Liberty Mutual, Elena says she hopes to stay with the company and continue working in the insurance industry.
“I was able to get out into my career faster because I could go at my own pace,” says Elena on what she liked most about attending Globe University. “It was a lot of work, but I was able to complete my four-year degree in two years.”
