International MBA Grad Found Something More at Globe University
Inbal Shaul says her life has been full of changes and surprises. She embraced another change when she decided to pursue her MBA degree with an emphasis in finance at Globe University.
“Growing up in Israel, I was raised on certain values, culture and mentality,” Inbal explains. “I always knew I was looking for something more; I was always outside of the box. I was determined to find my place and be happy. That is why I decided to pursue a different kind of education and travel to the U.S. My motive was happiness, love and self-fulfillment.”
Inbal attended the Globe University-Minneapolis campus, which is the international student services headquarters. She says the small and intimate setting made it easy to talk to campus representatives.
“As an international student, Globe gave me the support I needed,” says Inbal. “You know everyone, and there is personal treatment.”
In addition to the friendly atmosphere, Inbal appreciated her educational experience, noting that the faculty and staff were nice, knowledgeable and helpful, and gave her the opportunity to learn skills that would help her in the workforce.
“[The instructors are] not just teaching dry material in the classroom,” she says. “They give assignments that enhance skills. Career services [staff] helped me with writing my resume and provided some good opportunities.”
Inbal says she is passionate about being a better person, and influencing and helping those around her – values which are parallel to those of Globe University.
“Globe gives you good skills [for the future], and the environment is very open and personal,” Inbal says. “[You] always have someone to talk to, and they try their best to help you [with] whatever issue you have.”
