Massage Envy Cooperative Training Program

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the need for qualified massage therapists is expected to grow 23 percent by 2022. To help meet the growing demand and produce qualified, confident and experienced candidates, Globe University & Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) and Massage Envy have teamed up to create a cooperative training program. Qualified students will benefit from GU/MSB’s career-focused education and the industry expertise of Massage Envy as they train for a career in the massage therapy industry.

Massage Envy is growing and it needs qualified massage therapist to grow with it. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who enjoy helping others and want to make a career of it. Qualified candidates will receive paid, on-the-job training* and tuition assistance from Massage Envy, while earning a massage therapy diploma from Globe University & Minnesota School of Business. In order to be eligible for this program, you must meet GU/MSB’s enrollment requirements and Massage Envy’s employment requirements.

Combining Classroom and Workplace Experience

This program can be completed in nine month with year-round, full-time study. During the first six months students will focus full-time on academic work in the classroom. The last three months will combine work in the classroom and paid on-the-job training* at Massage Envy. This gives students the unique advantage of being able to simultaneously apply what they learn in the classroom and on the job. All classroom instruction will be taken at Globe University & Minnesota School of Business. As part of the program, qualified student/employees may be eligible for up to $3,400 in scholarships and may also be eligible to receive credit for work experience and prior learning at Massage Envy* up to an additional $1,950 in savings!

Making the Most of Your Education

The Massage Envy cooperative training program can help students save time and money by efficiently and economically helping to increase their qualifications and credentials.

Students who successfully complete the program will earn a massage therapy diploma, along with 46 credits that can be applied towards the massage therapy associate degree program at Globe University & Minnesota School of Business. They will also be eligible to take the MBLEX licensing exam offered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards.
