Military student services staff and financial aid representatives at Globe University are committed to helping students make use of all the educational financial benefits for which they qualify.
Those eligible for VA Benefits, including all educational benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, should contact their campus financial aid department to apply for the following:
- Chapter 31-Vocational Rehabilitation
- Chapter 33 – Post 9/11 GI Bill®
- Chapter 30 -VA benefits for active duty Service members under the Montgomery GI Bill®
- Chapter 35 – Dependent and Survivors benefits
- Chapter 1606 – Guard/Reserve benefits under the Montgomery GI Bill®
- Chapter 1607 – Guard/Reserve benefits for those who have been deployed more than 90 consecutive days on federal orders
Note: It can take the VA up to 12 weeks to begin payment on these benefits, so it is important to apply as soon as you have registered for classes. Eligible persons are reminded that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will not pay benefits for repeated or audited courses. In addition, benefits for short courses–those that do not meet for the entire term–will be paid for only the days that the class meets.
For more information, or to apply for benefits, contact your campus financial aid department.
Monthly Verification of Enrollment in College Courses
All Chapter 30, 1606 and 1607 beneficiaries must verify their monthly enrollment on a monthly basis, on or after the last day of the month. If you have a change in enrollment that affects your status (for example dropping from full time to 3/4 time), you must also notify your campus financial aid representative.
